Integrity Flight Support, as principal Fixed Base Operator (FBO) for Pitt Meadows Airport (CYPK) is pleased to announce that CYPK has been granted Airport of Entry status AOE/15, effective immediately.
With this status, all aircraft carrying up to 15 occupants in private, non-scheduled service will be granted approval to land at CYPK as their first port of entry into Canada without any requirement for crew and passengers to be members of the CBSA CanPass program.
For clarity, CYPK has been elevated from AOECAN, under which all crew and passengers on board were required to be pre-registered with CanPass, to AOE/15 which does not require CanPass membership. Furthermore, this access is available at CYPK 24/7/365. CYPK is the only airport in the Lower Mainland of BC, other than YVR, to have all-hours, continuous customs availability.
Operators are reminded to adhere to all requirements as provided by CBSA at CANPASS – Telephone Reporting – General Aviation Aircraft (cbsa-asfc.gc.ca)
When arriving at CYPK for customs clearance, aircraft will be instructed to await clearance in the FBO parking box on Apron 1 at the Main Terminal, whereupon they may, or may not, be greeted by CBSA officers. In the event that CBSA does not attend, clearance will be granted by phone.
